Used for DIY and Hobbies
I have used the Dremel Trio For a week now. I am a Woman of small size and this is very easy to use. It fits my hand well and I can control it very well. I like it being a router too. I build doll houses and I have used all the features of the trio.
Now I will be using it to cut wall tile for my Kitchen. The bits are easy to change, it makes it a breeze to go from cutting wood to routing to cutting tile. I have used it to cut small tile squares for doll house floor. A wonderful tool to use.

Used for Business
I've owned the Dremel Trio since the month it was released. This tool has been invaluable to my home theater installation business and is used on EVERY install.
As a disclaimer, I want to note that the Dremel Trio is made for light-to-medium grade work. If you're cutting something this tool isn't designed to cut - of course you're going to have some issues.
My primary use for this tool is cutting drywall boxes for low voltage and electrical applications. I also use the tool to cut MDF and 3/4" or less thick wood. The Trio gets about seven uses a week.

The included multi-purpose bit (The TR561B) is a nice little device. Mine lasted me over 10 months until it broke. The unit only broke because I attempted to cut 1/4" steel. Be comfortable knowing that the bit will last. Make sure you have a high enough speed setting on the handle for the job you're trying to perform. Cut slow and accurately, and make sure you have a good handle on the tool before you end your cuts.
Overall, I highly recommend the Trio.

I build and modify electric guitars, and I have found so many uses for this tool, I would be lost without it! I use it for cutting out neck pockets, pickup cavities, body binding (with a modified custom made jig), headstock shaping, string nut slots...and more.

I also install custom car audio speaker, amp, and receiver enclosures, it's uses are endless, as long as it is used for light/med. duty projects. For heavier and thick materials it bogs down alittle, but its not designed for heavy duty use, but if used slowly it can tackle *some* of the heavier stuff. For $100 it is a very, very versatile tool, I own this (Trio), the Dremel 4000 and the 7.2v cordless 2speed, and I couldn't go one day without them. Perfect for the carpenter or hobbyist……….Highly recommended.

Used for Boat Restoration
I restore old wood boats and this tool makes good cuts and fine detailing in tricky areas.
Used for DIY Projects
This is a great tool. I sent it as a gift to my daughter, who needed to modify cabinetry. The foot made it steadier in the hand.
The saw blade looks like a drill bit and easily cut through 3/4" plywood.
Previously, we had used a hand saw but with this tool we were done in a few minutes.

I was making a couple of elevated wood dog bowl stands and after trying to make a couple of unique cutouts on the first one with a reciprocating saw, I knew there had to be a better way. I went to the store looking for a cut-out tool but noticed the Trio in the same area. After going back and forth between the two and comparing features for at least 30 minutes (no kidding), I chose the Trio. Am I glad I did!

Not only did it cut out the patterns in a fraction of the time it took me with the reciprocating saw, the attachments allowed me to make perfect circles and sand the inner cutouts with ease. The variable speed function was definitely a plus too ensuring I didn't burn the wood. One of the handiest tools I have in my garage!!

The Best Dremel Trio Price
We've all wasted lots of time searching the internet comparing prices because we never want to pay more than we have to. I don’t know about you but when I find the best price, I usually waste even more time trying to figure out if that merchant is competent and reliable. I don't waste all that time anymore. When I'm looking for a power tool these days, or for that matter any other product, I just go directly to Amazon.com.
On Amazon these days, you can compare Amazon's price with the prices offered by other stores that sell the product you’re looking for. You can also see the “Seller Rating” of these stores, read reviews of the store itself by previous customers and read about the store’s shipping rates and return policies. Amazon provides it all.
